UNIT GOAL:  Students shall become familiar with the correct and safe use of 
            livestock facilities, restraint equipment, and tools necessary 
            for animal housing and care.

UNIT OBJECTIVES:  Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:

1.  Name and demonstrate the use of tools commonly used to restrain farm
    animals.

2.  Discuss the purposes of proper handling and restraint as it relates to 
    the safety of both the handler and livestock.
