Define the following floricultural terms: spray, disbud, annual, perennial, potted plant, foliage plant, and bedding plant. 2. Identify five common varieties of foliage used in arrangements. 3. Classify the major floricultural products by design categories of mass, line, form, and filler. 4. Demonstrate how each of the design categories is used in flower arranging. 5. Identify, use, and maintain common floristry tools and equipment. 6. Identify and describe the common mechanical methods used to secure flowers into arrangements (e.g., floral foam, frogs, pin holders, and chicken wire). 7. Draw and label six basic arrangements. 8. Identify materials used in corsage construction (e.g., wire, floral tape, ribbon, netting). 9. Construct a simple floral arrangement and corsage. 10. Identify two ways to increase water uptake and decrease biological processes in cut flowers (e.g., refrigeration and ventilation). 11. Demonstrate how to properly condition cut flowers after they have been delivered to the florist (classroom). 12.
