How Pattern Analysis Works

Precipitation data is collected along the radius of a single sprinkler pattern.  A sprinkler spacing and layout are entered.   The program then builds an overlapping pattern of precipitation using the radius data.   Sample points are generated using the original spacing of the radius data.  The precipitation at each point is interpolated based on the distance from each sprinkler.   Distribution Uniformity is calculated using all the sample points within the spacing area.  This is an estimate of how the sprinkler will preform at various spacings.
